Oticon Medical BAHS specializes in developing, producing, and distributing advanced bone-conduction hearing systems, including long-term implants, sound processors, software, and surgical tools. We are a global leader in hearing solutions and are currently strengthening our Sourcing team in Gothenburg, Sweden.

On behalf of Oticon Medical, Sourcian Partner is now recruiting a Strategic Sourcing Manager – Indirect Materials to further strengthen their procurement organization. We are looking for a commercially sharp and self-driven professional to lead and drive the Indirect Materials agenda.

This is a role for someone who takes ownership, sets direction, and delivers measurable impact while collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders across the organization.

About the Role

You will be responsible for a broad indirect scope and are expected to prioritize where your efforts create the greatest business value. The role requires strong commercial judgement, structure, and the confidence to operate independently.

The Responsibility

You will manage multiple indirect categories, including IT applications, equipment, licenses, consumables, facility-related areas, consultants, and services, including longer-term partners for various projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Define and execute the sourcing strategy for indirect materials

• Lead supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal frameworks

• Proactively manage supply risk, market exposure, and cost efficiency

• Drive structured improvement initiatives – consolidation, optimization, and sustainability

• Own supplier performance management and development within indirect categories

• Strengthen procurement processes, documentation standards, and governance

This role is part of the Operations organization, and you will collaborate closely with most departments across the company. The expectation is that you bring clarity, structure, and momentum to the indirect sourcing area.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement

• Fluent in English

• Experience working with indirect material categories

• Strong negotiation skills and documented experience managing supplier performance

• Proven ability to drive cost efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working with procurement systems (ERP and contract management tools)

Experience from a quality-regulated industry (e.g., MedTech, Pharma, Automotive, or Aerospace) and familiarity with regulated supplier qualification processes are considered advantageous.
